ICTTC Chairman Mr. Mishra attended the 2nd Seminar between Chinese and South Asian Governments, Industries, Universities and Research Institutes on 18th June 2025 at Kunming, China

On the invitation of the Department of Asian Affairs, Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, and the Department of Commerce of Yunnan Province, Mr. Vijay K. Mishra, Chairman of the India China Technology Transfer Centre (ICTTC), attended the 2nd Seminar between Chinese and South Asian Governments, Industries, Universities, and Research Institutes held on 18th June 2025 in Kunming, China.

Mr. Mishra delivered a keynote address on “Technology for Sustainable Development: India’s Approach to Green Growth and Regional Innovation,” highlighting India’s policy initiatives, technological advancements, and collaborative efforts aimed at promoting sustainable development and fostering regional cooperation through innovation.

The 9th China-South Asia Exposition (CSA Expo) , Co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and the People’s Government of Yunnan Province, along with the Department of Asian Affairs and the Department of Commerce of Yunnan Province, the 9th China-South Asia Exposition (CSA Expo) taken place in Kunming, Yunnan, from June 19 to 24, 2025.

Held under the theme “Solidarity and Coordination for Common Development,” the Expo will adopt a hybrid format, combining both online and offline activities. The physical exhibition will span 160,000 square meters, featuring 16 thematic pavilions that showcase economic, trade, investment, and cultural cooperation between China and South Asian countries.

In addition to the main exhibition, a series of side-line events are being organized, including:

The China-South Asia Cooperation Forum

The Seminar between Chinese and South Asian Governments, Industries, Universities, and Research Institutes

Special activities such as the Opening Ceremony, B2B matchmaking sessions, and field-visiting tours

These initiatives aim to deepen regional engagement, promote high-quality development, and build stronger ties between China and South Asia across multiple sectors.
