Board Meeting of India China Trade Centre (ICTC)’s Board Member & Advisory Board Members on Tuesday, 24th November 2015 at India International Centre, New Delhi
Important decisions taken during the meeting:
Shri Rajeev Shukla, M. P., (Hon’ble Ex Minister of Government of India) Chairman Advisory Board ICTC has Chaired the Meeting and he gave a warm welcome to the Board Members, advisory board members and Special Invitee present at the meeting.
Shri V. K. Mishra, Executive vice Chairman has briefed the board about the activities of last year, proposed opening of new branch offices in different states / Provinces and current bilateral trade & investment scenario and recent happening between India and China.
The Board has approved the opening of India China Technology Transfer Centre (ICTTC) for the promotion of Economic Research, Education & Science and Technology Cooperation between India and China.
Mr. Wen Jun, Counsellor – Science & Technology, Embassy of People’s Republic of China in India was also present at the meeting and briefed the members about the Science & Technology cooperation possibilities between both the countries and appreciated the efforts of ICTC for establishing a platform for that.
The Board has also approved the expansion of existing committee and formation of Committee on Infrastructure, Economic Zones & Industrial Hubs for better coordination between Chinese and Indian enterprise.
The meeting concluded with a hearty vote of thanks to the Chair.
