A delegation from the India-China Trade Centre (ICTC), led by its Executive Vice Chairman, Mr. Mishra, attended the inaugural celebration of the Dragon Boat Festival hosted by H.E. Ambassador Xu Feihong and Madam Tan Yuxiu, in association with Taj Palace, New Delhi, at the renowned Spicy Duck Restaurant.

The event brought together distinguished diplomats, business leaders, industry representatives, and friends of India-China relations to celebrate one of China’s most cherished traditional festivals. The evening showcased the rich cultural heritage of China through authentic cuisine, cultural exchanges, and meaningful interactions that strengthened people-to-people ties between India and China.
Mr. Mishra highlighted the significance of cultural diplomacy in fostering stronger economic, commercial, and institutional cooperation between the two countries. He noted that such engagements provide valuable opportunities to deepen mutual understanding, build trust, and promote constructive dialogue among stakeholders from government, industry, academia, and civil society.
The Dragon Boat Festival, which symbolizes unity, perseverance, harmony, and cultural pride, served as an excellent platform for interaction between the diplomatic community and business leaders. Mr. Mishra conveyed ICTC’s sincere appreciation to H.E.
