India – China (Hainan) IT Cooperation Conference

A large business delegation led by Mr. Li Quoliang; Vice Governor of People’s Government of Hainan Province, was here to promote the bilateral trade cooperation in IT Industry between India and Hainan. The main focus area for cooperation was Information Technology, IT Enabled Services and High Technologies Industries etc.
Today is the beginning of new relationship between a very beautiful Hainan Province with us. We are very happy to receive such a large delegation representing various IT Companies and High tech industry.
India is considered to be a global IT service hub due to IT and IT enabled services. The GDP contribution is almost 7% and in value terms it is approx 100 billion $. However in value terms Chinese exports in services are more than India. China is selling more transport and travel services to the world than India. However, India maintains lead in IT. 12 Indian companies were in top 100 lists of the world and 3 companies in top 10, where as NEUSOFT Corporation of China a top ranked company made place in top 30 outsourcing company.
Growth of China’s software and information services is more than 40% year on year and valued at $60 billion in 2011. As per annual report of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China. The outsourcing sector was 20.8% of the entire software industry.
Hainan a beautiful Province located in South most part of China. Tropical atmosphere, beautiful landscaping, blue water beaches, yes it is Goa of China. It is largest Special Economic zone of China is making efforts to build leisure and resort destination combined with environment friendly industrial hub based on mainly service industry.
During very short period Hainan has developed pilot projects demonstrating their capabilities to establish green industry. Companies like Hainan Resort Software Community (RSC), Infobahn Technology Service Company, Ever Trust Telecom Engineering, Haikou Hightech Zone, Sanya VICO Park, Sanya Creative Park, New Horizon Software Co., Tianya Community Network are the leading companies are here with us.

The MOU signed between Hainan Resort Software Community (RSC) with NIIT Limited and Hainan Tianya Community Network with Infosys Limited.
Hainan provides vibrant opportunities for all IT companies from India and India is also offering attractive opportunities to invest in India this way both can join hands and have win win for both.
